Round One Public Voting for Writing Contest Is Over

Whew! I'm glad the public voting is over for now. I really enjoyed this process. The next step is finding out if I've gotten enough votes to make it into round 2. Right now the Editors will be going over the 25 with the highest amount of votes and picking the 3 Wild Card entries. Then those 28 will have to submit our full manuscript which will be judged by the Editors. They will pick 3 to be put online for public voting again.
The winner will be given a contract.
But never say never...The Editors may contact any author "after" the contest ends to possibly buy. They've stated that last year they purchased 6 stories after the contest ended.
So tonight I will get a good nights sleep. I've stayed up until 3am every night for a week editing and polishing my manuscript in hopes of a request!
Sweet Dreams Everyone! Keep Writing and Keep Smiling!

Voting Still OPEN

The link to my submission in Harlequin's So You Think You Can Write Contest is
www.soyouthinkyoucanwrite.com/manuscripts/couldnt-love-that-dog-more/

The link will take you right to my novel submission. It is a Pitch and the First Chapter in my 55,000 word manuscript. It has been geared to the Love Inspired Christian Line.
We need Public Votes to make it to the next round. Please take a look. If you like it please vote for me. We can vote once a day through October 11th.
I've been getting mostly positive feedback on my chapter, but it is a bit sad. The story doesn't stay sad so please don't let that discourage anyone from voting for it. It's great to "Feel" some emotions when reading.
Romances must have a Happy Ending!
